Of all the initial races I perfer the Sorylian carrier design most. It has the most in common with wet-navy carriers and is filled with little details like hanger bay doors.
It also reminds me of my favorite Anime, Space Battleship Yamato, and the logic defying carriers of that show.
I painted this ship the same way as the earlier ships in the fleet. An overall coat of Tamiya Intermediate Blue. Highlighting was acomplished with (gw) Space wolf gray. The yellow is (gw) bubonic brown highlighted with (GW) Bleached bone.
I used some left over decals from a 1/350 scale carrier cut down to size.
Also added were a small handful of GHQ f-14 tomcats (Or you could call them vf-1 Valkyries)

Overall a fun ship and one of the reasons I picked the Sorylians as my starting fleet.

wow , when i first looked at it with th efighters , i thought it was a much larger model , well done , love the paint job , makes the thing look much much bigger.
