Firestorm Armada - Sorylian Cruiser mod!

Work continues on my Sorylian fleet as my son, Jake, and I compete in an epic arms race to get our fleets painted and ready for our first battle.





I wanted to do something a little different for my second Sorylian Cruiser. The ship itself is a very cool design however I decided to change the orentation of the drive section by 90 degrees. Making the ship thin overall from the top view. For me the ship just looks better this way.

For my fleet these vertical cruisers represent an older model of cruiser that is a little more war-weary then the current "official" horizontal engine Cruiser.

I stuck with the same color pallet but made the blue a little less 'clean' and dirtied thing up a bit to suggest this ship has been out on patrol for a while.
