Firestorm Armada - The Big Boy

Work continues on my Firestorm Armada fleet.

Here is the Sorylian Battleship. The current big boy of the Sorylian fleet.

This ship was painted in the same way as the the Sorylian Cruiser in my last post.

One change was to add some color to the ship. Inspiration came from Space Battleship Yamato and the distinctive yellow bows of the EDF ships in the second season.

After some requests here we have a comparison shot with some other Spaceship miniatures. Below there are...

• Apocalypse Class Battleship from "Battlesfleet Gothic"
• Space Battleship Yamato from "Star Blazers Fleet Battle System"
• USS Constitution from "Federation Commander & Star Fleet Battles"
• Battlestar Pegasus from " homemade BSG Game"
  

From this pic you can see the large nature of these miniatures. It gives a nice sense of scale and seems to fit nicely with the Battlefleet Gothic ships.

Next up... work continues on the fleet as my son Jake races to get his Dendrenzi ships ready for our first battle.
