Firestorm Armada - The Terrans

Continuing on my Firestorm Armada kick I picked up my first Terran ship. The Carrier. This is a pretty basic design, pretty boxy and reminds me a lot of the ships from The Fifth Element. Putting it together I was thinking it looked rather plain and thought I might spice it up a little.

Here is the Terran carrier without much modification. Mainly just flipping the engine section over.

Below we have some plasticard, a Bridge from a Spare Star Blazers model and one of the Underside bits glued onto the hull. That's a little better.

From the bow. Now this ship looks like it means business!

Now, what to paint these guys? I'm not sure yet. I'm still debating on their paint scheme. I'm leaning towards an industrial light gray, heavy weathering but I'm not sure yet. Say posted as the Terrans join the fray!
