My Ultramarines have spent a long time sitting in their case but lately they have started to see the tabletop more often. As a result I wanted to add some new units to my list that I didn't pick up when they were released.
The new-ish Centurions currently seem to have a love/hate relationship with gamers. Some seem to love them, others, like my son, think they are ridiculous.
I do think they are a little over the top, sort of the Hulk Buster armor of the 40k world. but in a universe that has space elves, daemonic boob women and anime reject Tau I think there is room for silly, over the top Space Marines.
I picked up a set on Ebay
I kept them separate for most of the painting. There are lots of nooks and crannies on these guys.
I traded out the normal Centurion head with beaky helmets.

once metal and blue are done I start assembly |
Yeah, they might have some trouble turning their heads... oh well.
I added some resin scenic bases
Then finally some decals
They are now ready to kick butt in the name of the Emperor!
