Last weekend I had the privileged to run a Flames of War Tournament at a local Game store here in the Greater Phoenix Area.
As gamers we are blessed with not one but several great Gaming stores spread around the area and our Flames of War group tries to host FOW Tournaments at all the willing game stores.
On May 19th I ran the Desert Rats FOW Early War Tournament at
Empire Games.
We had a 3 round 1500 point Tournament set in the Early War Period.

- Surrounded
- CounterAttack
We had a good mix of forces. From the obligatory Panzer Companies to Polish, French and German Gliders. We had a total of 12 people show up for the event.
Standings were as follows
1st Jake H - British Infantry Tanks - 14 pts - Overall
2nd Jake D - German DAK - 13 pts - Best Sportman
3rd TJ - German Schutzen -12 pts
three way tie for 4h place
4th Sam - German Armor - 11 pts.
4th Tim P - British - BAR - 11pts
4th Tony - British Honey Armor - 11 pts - Best Painted
7th Ty - German Glider - 9 Pts
8th Jeff - French Tanks - 8 pts
9th Aaron - Italian Tank - 7 pts.
9thth Tom - Polish Infantry - 7 pts.
11th Mike - British Infantry - 6 pts.
