Team Yankee - Unboxing and painting

Team Yankee is a very exciting release for Flames of Wars players.
Cold war gone hot has always been high on the hypothetical wish list and finally Battlefront has listed to our prayers!

This week we say the release of the Team Yankee Rulebook and US Army Box.

I did an unboxing video here.

I also assembled the contents of the box.

I like the look of the M1A1 even though it is an upgrades version of the Abrams that is not included in the basic rulebook (It uses original M1s) The extended Turret rack (bustle) and larger gun barrel are hallmarks of the M1A1.

I decided to paint mine in the NATO three color paint scheme. Here is a test model to nail down the colors.

To paint I used the following colors.

I base coated in Vellejo Surface Primer  NATO Green

Brown is Vellejo  Flat Earth highlighted with USA Tan-Earth

Black is German Grey

Green highlight is Nato Green mixed with Citadel Warboss Green.

Next some weathering and knocking out the rest of the force.
